For students who do not wish to participate in graduation:
- • Non-Walking Fee $65 (Must be paid at school via cash or money order)
- • Includes: Diploma & Cover, Senior Shirt
SHS 2023 Graduation Information
The 2023 graduation ceremony will take place on May 24, 2023 at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, located at 6400 Woodrow Road, Lithonia, GA 30038.
Graduation Schedule
All graduations will be Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the following times:
• Salem High School Graduation: 10:00 a.m.
• Each graduate will receive 11 tickets.
Graduation Attire:
- • Dress or skirt above the gown hem
- • Dark colored Pants (black or navy blue)
- • Black or White dress shirt Dark colored tie
- • Black dress shoes (must be a comfortable flat or wedge, be prepared for lots of walking) No flip-flops, heels (block or skinny), crocs, sneakers, or slides.
- • Graduation caps CAN NOT be decorated.
- • Students inappropriately dressed will not be allowed to participate in graduation.
*Cap & Gown Pick-up*
- • April 26th - During all lunches and after school in the Concession Stand
- • May 11th from 3-5 p.m. in the Concession Stand
