Community Service
While Community Service is a non-requirement to meet the RCPS Graduation Requirement of 24 Credits, community service documentation may be required to earn special scholarships.   The standard SHS form is attached for your convenience to acquire signatures.  Six Hundred(600) hours of documented community service may designate you as a standout with the opportunity to purchase a Community Service Keepsake to wear for at Graduation.

     
    Criteria

  • Organizations which provide enrolled high-school age youth volunteer (unpaid) supervised opportunities that insure, develop and enhance personal safety, ethical decision-making, and leadership.
  • Nonprofit
  • Non-immediate Family
