Wallace Corker - Boys Head Coach

Coach Wallace Corker is entering his first year as the Varsity Head Coach for Salem High School. Coach Corker is a graduate of Morehouse College with a degree in Psychology. He played basketball for Morehouse College where he was a 3-time SIAC All Conference player. He was the Head Assistant Coach for Columbia High School Boys’ Basketball team from 2003-2013. Columbia had an overall record of 276 wins-37 losses.  Columbia won 5 GHSA State Championships, 8 Region Championships, 3 State Runner Ups, and 2 Final Fours.

Coach Corker has spent the last 7 years as the Head Boys’ Basketball Coach at Lithonia High School. As the Head Coach at Lithonia, he had an overall record of 149 wins-59 losses. Lithonia won 3 Region Championships, made it to Elite 8 6 years and made it to the State Final Four 2 years.

Coach Corker’s unwavering approach, passion, commitment and sense of pride has assisted with getting over 100 student athletes into college to play at the Collegiate level. He is excited to put his own stamp on an already exciting program and can’t wait to coach this great group of talented young men.
